Phoenix Zoo

Cerra took us to the Pheonix Zoo while we were in Arizona. Dillon had to work, but her friend Katie and her two cute kids came along with us. Katie got us a discount which was awesome. The zoo was huge and was in the top 5 best zoo's in America. It was pretty amazing!! We were there for about 5 hours, and Porter did awesome. It seems like our child never gets tired. He didn't want to ride in the carrier hardly at all, and wanted to walk everywhere. He is such a trooper. I think my favorite thing about the zoo was there were palm trees EVERYWHERE!! Sooooooo beautiful! Porter loved the animals!! except for the lion! The minute the lion turned his big head and looked at Porter, he got a little scared. I don't blame him, the lion was HUGE!

Cerra and Reese even paid extra to ride a camel. SO AWESOME! And Reese did such a great job and wasn't scared at all. Doesn't that look like fun??But I think that Porter's favorite part of the zoo was definitely the play area they had there. Him and Reese played and played and had so much fun!! And here are the adults hanging out while the children are playing. We definitely had a lot of fun posing by the fun zoo sculptures, and Porter had a lot of fun hanging out with little Reese.It was upper 70's all day at the zoo. Perfect weather. Paul was extremely sunburned and had a massive headache when we got back from the zoo. He thinks that he might have got heat exhaustion..poor guy! I am sure that is the last time that will happen to him in mid November..haha! But we had a fabulous day! Thanks so much Cerra and Katie for such a fun trip to the zoo! :-)
