Babies that Sleep All Night

We had a WONDERFUL Halloween and I can't believe that it is over already. We had a very fun Halloween party at my aunts house a couple of weeks before Halloween and then celebrated on the 31st with my family. My Mom made an incredible Halloween dinner which included delicious Cream of potatoe and broccoli soup (served in a pumpkin), breadsticks (shaped like bones), yummy dip (with carrots 'fingers'), apple scary teeth, a cheese, meat and cracker platter, chips, and an awesome drink with 'fish' and 'fish eggs', etc. After dinner, we put Porter down for the night and we all watched 1408. It was super scary
For the last couple of weeks, at least, Porter has refused to eat his baby cereal! We tried everything to try and make him eat... adding different fruits and vegies, making it more runny, making it with juice, etc. Nothing seemed to work. At every meal, he would take maybe 2 bites and he was done. Most of the time he just closed his mouth and would turn his head, totally refusing to eat at all. We even bought different brands of rice and oatmeal baby cereal..but nothing seemed to help. During the night he started waking up about every 2-3 hours and would sometimes drink up to 3 bottles a night which let us know that he was STARVED!! We guessed that it was just because he was teething and his mouth hurt and so he didn't want to eat. We even called the pediatrician who suggested to just keep trying and start over on just the cereal without the vegies and fruit. FINALLY today I went to the store and found some baby cereal with yogurt for him to try and guess what? HE LOVED IT!!! He ate 2 bowls for breakfast and 2 bowls for dinner..YES! So hopefully this will fill him up and he will start sleeping through the nights again..poor kid!!
