Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween breakfast, I took the boys out to eat at IHOP to get our pumpkin face pancakes.  They give you all of the topping for your pancake and then you decorate it yourself.  The boys loved it.   Even little Owen couldn’t wait to dig into his pancake.

We spent Halloween this year at my Mom’s!  We did the super hero theme again..haha.  Porter was Batman, Kaden was Captain America and Owen was baby Superman.

And here is what was on our Halloween dinner menu.. spooky!

And then it was time for Trick or Treating.  The boys were so excited they could hardly stand it.  Here is Owen on his first time trick or treating!

Porter and Kaden were so excited about these light savers that my Mom bought them to help them see in the dark.  They thought they were pretty cool.  I think I will remember to get these every year.  It helped keep track of them.  My Mom, Shane and Tasha came along for our little Trick or Treat adventure!

Then we came home and the boys crashed from all of that trick or treating and candy eating.  They rested with blankets, sippy cups and a good movie. 

We had a wonderful Halloween and hope that all of you guys did as well!

Carving Pumpkins

Yay.. I love pumpkins and couldn’t wait until our family carved them this year.  We found some pretty fun pumpkin kits where the boys hit lights into their pumpkins with a little hammer and then when we put a candle in it, the lights would blink.  The boys thought they were the cooliest thing ever..haha.  They had a lot of fun and it was a lot of fun spending some time together as a family.

Here are the little boys with their pumpkins.  Love these little cuties so much. 

And this picture is definitely my most favorite picture of the night.  It just cracks me up how serious all of their faces are..haha. 

And then after the boys were in bed, Paul and I went to town on our pumpkins.  We pulled out the drill and drilled our pumpkins this year.  I think that we had a little too much fun..haha.  This is definitely how I will be carving my pumpkin from now on.  It was a blast.

Already can’t wait to carve pumpkins again next year!
