Thanksgiving Day at Mama’s

So thankful for this opportunity this time of year to remember all of the many blessings and beautiful things that I have.  I am thankful for so many things, but I am especially thankful this year for my wonderful family.  I am so lucky to have the cutest little boys and husband in the world.  My heart is always overflowing with joy that they bless me with.  So so thankful for them.  I don’t know what I would do without them.  I am also grateful for my wonderful immediate family and extended family.  I have the best family in the world.  I love you all so much. 

We spent Thanksgiving this year at my Mom’s house.  While we were waiting for It to be time to go, Porter made this cute little turkey.  I wrote the things that he is thankful for on the feathers of the turkey.  Some of the things that he named were:  comfy blankets, his backyard, sippy cups, broccoli, his family, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  It was so sweet to hear the things that he was thankful for. 

The dinner was absolutely amazing like usual.  My Mom is an amazing cook and always goes all out for holidays.  It is always very cozy and everything tastes delicious.  Thank you so much for all that you do for us Mom.  You are so wonderful. 

This Thanksgiving was special for our family because it was this little guy’s very 1st Thanksgiving.  He is such a little sweetheart and definitely stuffed his little tummy full of Thanksgiving food!   He loved the yams and stuffing and ham.

Kaden had his first piece of pie this Thanksgiving.  He had banana cream pie and he absolutely loved it. 

He just ate and ate and ate. 

and then dumped it all out..haha. 

I think that Porter thought that the egg nog was the best.  He just drank and drank and couldn’t get enough.  I am totally with him.  You can’t get much better than egg nog. 

After dinner we were all so stuffed that we just crashed on the couches.  Haha..it was pretty funny.

Porter went to relax in my Mom’s guest room for a little while and let his food settle..little cutie. 

I am so thankful that I am surrounded by such loving family.  I love each member of my family so much.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving as well. 

Thanksgiving at the Morris’s

We were lucky to have 3 Thanksgiving Dinners this year.  Our first one was at my sister Donna’s and her husband Geoff’s house.  We celebrated Thanksgiving with my Dad and his wife Zuly.

We had a wonderful time.  Donna made the most delicious turkey I have ever tasted and the rest of the food was amazing as well. 

This was Kaden’s First Thanksgiving Dinner.  So much fun!!  He loved the sweet potatoes, potatoes and gravy, and carrots the best.

Little Porter and his cousin Elsa had a lot of fun running around and playing with each other.  They are so cute together.  I love that he has a cousin so close in age!

We had a wonderful night.  Thanks so much Donna and Geoff.  I love my family so much. 

 

Porter’s Baby

Last month we were doing some shopping, and Porter found this little baby doll.  He immediately fell in love with it and asked if we could take him home.  He promised me that he would take good care of the baby.  I thought it was the cutest thing in the world that he wanted a little doll, so I let him get it.  As he was sitting in the shopping cart with the little doll..he just kept hugging it and hugging it and it was the cutest thing in the world.  Who cared about all the funny looks that people gave because my little boy was holding a baby doll!  

Ever since Porter got home with his baby doll, he has been unbelievable in taking care of it. 

He makes sure that the baby is always strapped up in our van whenever we go anywhere, he gives the baby baths, he reads the baby stories, he gives the baby it’s binky.  He makes a bed by his bed for the baby and always makes sure that the baby is well fed.  Watching Porter being so sensitive, loving and caring with this little doll makes me so happy.  Love my little Porter!

Family Halloween Party

We had our Halloween Party this year at Donna and Geoff’s house.  It was a BLAST.  I love my family so much.  They crack me up!!
