Pumpkin Patch

This is one of my most favorite Fall traditions..visiting the pumpkin patch.  This is our second year going to Peterson’s Family Farms.  And we love it there.  The boys definitely loved riding on the tractors the most.  They sat on these things forever and had a blast pretending to drive them. 

The boys were so cute walking through the corn maze.  Porter would run ahead and call for Kaden to come and find him.  Kaden would walk as fast as he could trying to find Porter.  So much fun watching them have fun together.

The boys had fun choosing pumpkins.  It was hilarious watching Kaden trying to pick up the pumpkins.  He always went for the huge ones..haha. 

The boys thought it was such a blast to have me push them in the wheel barrel.  The problem was that they would load it with tons of pumpkins and then they would hop in.  So so heavy to push.  I am thankful that I didn’t tip them over..haha!!  The boys even took a turn trying to push.

There is a huge stack of hay that the boys love to play on!!  They ran up and down and all around on the hay!!  Amazing how much energy these 2 little boys have!!  I attempted getting pictures of the boys together..haha.   I got some cute ones of Porter, but Kaden wouldn’t hold still for a second.. such a busy bee!

I can’t believe how fast the holidays have approached.  Halloween is just in a couple of days.. so exciting!!  I love this time of the year so much!!

Indoor Swimming With My Boys

A couple of Saturdays ago, Paul had so many plans to get things done around the house and the yard and so while he was busy working hard, I decided to take the kids and relax at the pool..haha, now doesn’t that seem fair?    We decided to check out the J.L. Sorenson Recreation Center in Riverton, and I have to say that this is now my new favorite indoor pool.  I loved the fun kid area because the water was so shallow.  Kaden and Porter could play and do whatever they wanted without me worrying about the water being too deep.  They had an absolute blast.  They played in the kiddy area for a long time and then we put the boys life jackets on and we swam around their lazy river for a long time.  I think that was Porter’s favorite part.  He loved swimming in the deep part by himself with his life jacket without me helping him.  So cute!!  Kaden was adorable kicking his legs and pretending to swim.  I love how much my children love the water.  We had such a fun day together and Paul was able to get a lot of things done while we were gone!   We will definitely be coming back here and taking full advantage of this swimming pool during the upcoming cold Winter months!

Park Fun

We have loved the cooler Fall weather and have spent a lot of time at parks enjoying it.  We love this park, Veterens Memorial Park in West Jordan, but Porter calls it ‘The Big Wooden Park’.  This place is huge and I have to keep an eye on my kids the whole time because it is so huge.  My kids could play hours and hours here.  Such a fun place.

I love that even though my kids are 3 years apart, they still love playing together and have so much fun with each other.  I love watching them together.  They are such great friends.
