Owen 7 Months

Our little beautiful Owen turned 7 Months on September 2nd.  We cannot get enough of our little baby blue eyes!  He is just such a joy and brings so much peace and laughter to our family.  This little guy still smiles and smiles and smiles all day and never stops.  Sometimes we just have to laugh at him because he can’t help but smile whenever anyone even looks at him.  Such a little sweetheart!!  He is SUCH a people person.  LOVES being around people.  He loves to be held by anyone and just beams his perfect beautiful little smile. 

Owen is getting so big.  He has completely outgrown his 9 month old clothes and is wearing 12 month clothes.  Owen is getting more and more interactive everyday.  He loves sitting and playing with toys, especially outside.  It is so much fun to sit and watch him play.  He especially loves it when his brothers play toys with him.  His coordination is amazing.  He has full control at grasping toys.  He loves taking apart legos that are put together and knocking down blocks.  So cute!!  He also does very good at picking up food on his tray to eat.  He is growing up way too fast. 

Owen is still an excellent sleeper.  He usually goes to sleep around 7 and wakes up once a night to drink a bottle, and then goes back down until 8 in the morning.  He usually takes 3 naps.  One in the early morning around 9:30.  Then another one around 1:00 and then another short one around 4.  He is such a fabulous eater and will eat absolutely everything and anything.  His favorites are: bananas, yogurt, kix cereal, saltine crackers and carrots.  He also drinks about 5 full bottles a day.

Owen hates being on his tummy.  The second you put him on his tummy he starts fussing and then the second you pick him up he just smiles and smiles..haha. 

Owen loves storytime and looking at books.  He laughs and laughs when you sound out the sounds that animals make..it is the funniest thing in the world.  He just loves it.  He loves playing pattycake and singing itsy bitsy spider.  He also loves bathtime!  Owen is still pretty drooly and spits up a lot… poor little guy. 

Happy 7 Months sweetheart!!  We love you so much!

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Every Tuesday in August were only $2 for any venue at Thanksgiving Point.  We were so excited about this, because that meant that we got to go and see the the new Museum of Natural Curiosity for $4 (Kaden and Owen were free).  This museum is absolutely incredible.  We spent a good 3 hours there and didn’t even come close to doing/seeing everything there.  It is HUGE and has so many fun things for the kids.  I see purchasing a pass here in our future!

I cannot get over this cute little baby splash baby area.  Cutest thing ever.  There was a whole cirlce of little high chair like seats.  You plop your baby in and they splash in the water.  Owen LOVED IT!!  He could have sat there and splashed all day.  You have to check out the movie of little Owen.  It is pretty adorable!

I loved seeing how many fun activities there were for all ages.  All of my boys were entertained the whole time and had a blast.

Porter couldn’t get over how amazing this thing was.  He played with it for a long time.

This was probably Owen’s favorite part of the whole museum.  There were big mirrors in a little play area and I plopped Owen in front of them and just sat there forever and just giggled and giggled at himself.  It was the cutest thing in the whole world. 

Kaden was so amazed to see Porter’s head floating..haha!

Now if only I can train them to do laundry at home!

I think this was definitely Porter and Kaden’s favorite part of the whole place.  They had so much fun putting on puppet shows for me.  It was pretty adorable!!

This video just cracks me up so far.  They kids went into a wind tunnel with winds to over 90 MPH and it was hilarious.  Both boys absolutely loved it and wanted to do it over and over. 

We can’t wait to come back and bring Daddy!
