2010 Marathons
So I did it. About a month ago, I signed up for these two marathons!!
http://www.gti-stavanger.org/news_showpost.asp?PostID=1645
I think I am addicted to running marathons. Just knowing that I have two marathons ahead of me, makes me super excited. My first one is The Utah Valley Marathon on June 12th, which gives me about 2 more months left of training. That makes me a little nervous, but I am trying to follow a pretty strict training schedule so I think I should be ok. My second marathon is in Stavanger, Norway and I am so increcibly excited for this one. My dream has always been to run a marathon in Europe and that I found one in Norway that coorelates perfectly with when we are going to be there in August is just so wonderful. I need to start researching my marathon shoes that I will use for my 1st marathon since I need to purchase them sometime near the end of April so I can break them in a bit before the marathon. All three marathons that I have ran so far, I have used Asics and I have been super happy with them..so I will probably be getting another pair of them. If anyone wants to join me for any of these marathons, PLEASE DO!!!

Swim Time
I was so excited when I found out that the Davis Recreational Center (like 2 minutes from our house) offered a 'parent and baby' swim class. We signed Porter right up for 2 sessions.
I take him on Monday and Wednesday mornings for about 40 minutes and we have a blast. It is so much fun to see how much Porter loves the water and he is so adorable in his little swim trunks.

This was the first time that Porter had ever been in a public swimming pool and I was interested to see how he would react. He has been awesome. He lets me float him on his back and his belly and he plays all of the fun swim games without any
problem. And it has been such a great way to get out some of his energy. Thanks so much Dad for paying for Porter's lessons! We appreciate it so much!Wednesday, March 17, 2010
HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!!

Today for St. Patty's Day, we took Porter to Liberty Park. We wanted to see the Aviary Park, but it had closed 5 minutes before we got there! So instead, we just took a super long walk and played in the park. We had TONS of fun and really enjoyed the warm weather. We all wore t-shirts, shorts and flip flops.. it was fabulous!! HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!!! :)

An Irish Wish
May you always have A sunbeam to warm you, Good luck to charm you, And a sheltering angel So nothing can harm you, Laughter to cheer you, Faithful friends near you, And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.
May your joys Be deep and many, May your heart be light and glad, May you have the best St. Patrick's Day That you have ever had

Last Sunday, we all went over to Natasha's and Colby's new apartment for a St. Patty's Day dinner and to see their new cute apartment. They have such a cute apartment and I love the way they decorated. We also had a spectacular St. Patty's Day dinner. My Mom made the most delicious corned beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage ever! YUMMY! I made Irish soda bread and it actually turned out pretty good. We had shamrock cupcakes, Krum Kaker, Klondike icecream bars, and yummy chocolate cake for dessert! I ate WAY TOO MUCH..but it was so yummy! Thanks Natasha and Colby for having us over.

Sledding and Porter's First Snowman
Porter and I had fun last week sledding, building a snowman, and playing in the snow. Porter LOVES the snow and we ended up playing in it for over an hour.
