Rainy Day

Our favorite thing in the world to enjoy is the rain.  Whenever it rains, you will either find us on our deck with a blanket listening to the rain, or you will find us dressed in our rain clothes taking a long walk.  This day it was raining on and off all day long.  So we got dressed up and headed out.  The boys were so excited to walk in the rain and jump in some puddles.  We took an almost 2 hour walk.  The boys loved it and were completely soaked by the time that we got home. 

Even little Owen loved it.  Look at this smile!   This was his first walk in the rain. 

And then he fell asleep.

Oh how I love the rain, and oh how I love my beautiful little boys!

Blackridge Reservoir

So glad that we discovered this place.  This is definitely where we have been/ and will be spending most of our time this Summer.  We live in Utah, and let’s face it, there are not a lot of beaches here.  So we were soooo happy to find this place.  This little Reservoir is in Herriman city.. just 10 minutes away from us.  Our kids have had a blast playing here and have loved showing their friends this awesome place. 

Here are the boys enjoying the day with the Dye family!  We spent a good 4 hours there this day.  The kids loved it!  The Dye’s have 5 boys, so Porter and Kaden had so much fun playing with so many friends!

A week or so later, we came back with the Compton family!  They have 3 boys almost exactly the same age as our boys!!  We had another super fun day!  I was so excited that I found this fun water trampoline.  The boys loved playing with it at the Reservoir. 

Then a couple days later of course we came back again.  This time Porter brought his friend Carter, and Kaden brought his friend Dutch.  We just cannot get enough of this place. 

We can’t wait to bring Daddy here!!  We will be back soon!
