Kaden 7 Months

Time is flying too fast, and I don’t know how to make it stop!!!!!  How is my little boy already is 7 months?  WOW!! So so crazy!!  Little Kaden is growing up so fast and doing so many new things.  First of all, I am not sure if I recorded this before, but he got his 1st tooth on July 28th, and his 2nd front tooth on August 25th.  He is so cute with his little front teeth!!  He still LOVES to eat and has tried baby puffs and ritz crackers and LOVES them and eats them so well.  He is getting very good at picking up food by himself and is also getting great at holding his bottle by himself.  He still loves to eat and can down 2 jars of baby food in one sitting.  I still haven’t found anything that he doesn’t like.  No matter what food I offer him, he loves it!  This is how we let Kaden explore food when Daddy is at work..haha!!

He is now able to get anywhere that he needs to go by either rolling or scooting.  I am sure that he will be full fledged crawling in just another week or so.  We need to start baby proofing our house again because before we know it, he will be all over the place.  Kaden is starting to babble a lot. 

He looks at you and just ‘talks and talks’ it is the cutest thing ever!!  He has such a beautiful smile. 

He gives you one smile and melts your heart instantly!!  Everyday I hear at least 100 times how beautiful little Kaden’s smile is.  Tons of people have asked me if he ever doesn’t smile.  It seems like he just smiles and smiles all day.  He loves playing patty cake and just beams when you play it with him.  He is 19.6 lbs and wears size 12 month clothes.  He still loves to sleep on his tummy and is still a great sleeper!!  He’s our little cuddle bug and loves to lie his head on your shoulder and just cuddle. 

He is such a little sweetheart.  We are so thankful for this little boy!!

Pass of all Passes

We bough the Pass of all Passes this year and have LOVED it.  We will absolutely be getting this every summer.  Here is more about it, if you are interested! http://www.sevenpeaks.com/passofallpasses/home.aspx/SITEID.1001_8 Porter has had a total blast..especially at 7-Peaks.  He could spend all day there, and he especially loves the wave pool.  I love watching him run around with his little water tube. I can’t wait until Kaden is a little older and can enjoy it also!

We have also been spending some time at Trafalga with our pass.  They have a bunch of fun little kid rides that Porter loves also.  He especially likes he bumper boats and the helicopter ride.  The last time we were there, Porter rode the helicopter ride 5 times in the row.  Afterwards he said, “Mom, I’m a little dizzy”..haha!  Silly boy!!  He also tried miniature golf for the first time this summer and had so much fun trying to hit the ball in the hole. 

Yay for fun things to do in the summer.  There are still many fun things that we can do with our pass that we haven’t explored yet.. we are excited to try everything out!  If you guys don’t have passes, I think you should get them.  They are totally worth it!!

Best Friends

Is this not the greatest picture ever?  I LOVE LOVE this picture!!  And I just LOVE LOVE these 2 boys so much and I love seeing how much they love each other!!  It is absolutely amazing the connection that these 2 boys have.  Even though Porter is 3 1/2 and Kaden is only 6 months.. they love being with eachother.  I love watching Kaden smile and laugh the very second he sees Porter.  I love how Porter begs me to let him take his bath with Kaden or watch a movie with Kaden because ‘it’s not fun by myself.. I need Kaden.’  Porter is so good to include Kaden when he is playing with his toys.  He always makes sure that Kaden has toys to play with as well.  Kaden laughs and laughs at everything Porter does.  Porter just has to enter the room and Kaden turns into hysterics.  It is so much fun watching them together!!

When Kaden first began smiling at about 2 months, he smiled for the first time at Porter at least a couple of weeks earlier than he smiled at anyone else.  They have had such a strong connection from the beginning. 

I can’t even begin to write how thankful and blessed I feel to be the Mommy of these two beautiful boys!!  They are so perfect to me and I love them with all of my heart!!

And I can’t forget the third boy that I love!!! 

So thankful for Paul and the incredible husband and father that he is!!  I love him with all of my heart!!!  I am the luckiest lady in the world!!!

FUNDRAISER FOR NATHAN

Kaden is 6 Months

Our sweet little boy turned 6 months last month.  Half way to a year.. I can’t even believe it.  It is so amazing how much this little guy has grown and developed in his first 6 months.  Kaden has the biggest, most beautiful grin.  When he smiles, he smiles with his whole body and it is just amazing.  He is such a little ham and just melts my heart.  He can’t help but smile.  You just have to look at him and he just starts beaming. So so sweet!! 
He has been sitting up great without support for almost a month now.  He is so strong.  A couple of days after he turned 6 months, he started holding onto the couch and standing for a couple of seconds by himself. 

He also LOVES to hold onto your hands and walk and walk and walk.  He could do that all day!  Kaden is still a wonderful sleeper.

He usually only wakes up once per night to eat and goes right back to sleep very quickly.  He always sleeps on his stomach now.  He can’t even last on his back for a couple of seconds without turning.  Kaden is also a wonderful eater.  He LOVES to eat..haha..and I haven’t found anything that he doesn’t like.  He eats three small bowls of baby food per day, plus about 4 full bottles. 

It is so much fun watching our beautiful little boy grow and develop.  He has such a beautiful and sweet disposition and brings such a sense of peace and calmness into our home.  He loves cuddling and will often just lay his head on my shoulder.  I can just rock him and hold him forever..he is just such a sweetheart.  I am so in love with our little Kaden!!

Happy 6 months our beautiful boy!  Mommy and Daddy and brother Porter love you so much and are so proud of you!!!
