Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!!  Here is our Thanksgiving tree that we made with the boys.  We made lots of leaves completely full of things that we are thankful for.  It was fun for all of us to make and think about how many blessings we have been given.

We are so blessed to have had 2 Thanksgiving dinners this year.  First we celebrated at Paul’s Mom’s house!!  So much fun hanging out with Paul’s side of the family!  The boys always love to see their cousins!  The dinner was amazing!!  And we definitely ate way too much!!

Then we celebrated Thanksgiving at my Mom’s house.  On Thanksgiving, right before we headed to my Mom’s house, the basement started flooding.  So Paul stayed to figure that out while I headed with the boys to my Moms.  We packed overnight clothes since we had no idea how long we would need to stay there before Paul had everything fixed.  Poor Paul.. that is such a stressful thing to happen on Thanksgiving.  But nevertheless, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at my Moms.  Again, we stuffed ourselves silly with absolutely delicious food.

We ended up sleeping over at my Mom’s that night.  The next morning we all went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.  We have a pass there and the kids LOVE it there.. it was especially fun to go with Grandma.  Thanks Mama!!

Halloween 2015

I love Halloween so much!  It has always been one of my most favorite holidays.. and with kids.. it is just so much fun!!  We had a blast this last Halloween season.

There is an amazing house just a couple of minutes from us that puts on an amazing Halloween light show every year.  This is our third year in a row going and my kids love it so much.  Owen and Paul stayed home so that Owen could get so sleep on time.  The family that puts it on also serves hot chocolate and popcorn.  So fun!  Porter and Kaden were so cute this year and danced their hearts out on the grass to the music.  It was cute because Porter is getting a little older and I could tell that he was a little more self conscious and looked around to make sure no one was watching.. but he still danced!  So cute!! Smile

Then a couple of days later, my Dad invited us over to his ward Halloween party.  We had the most tastiest soup and chili that I have ever had.  It was amazing.  They also had lots of fun activities and games for the kids and it was great spending some time with my Dad!
