Happy 2 Months Kaden

Last Friday, our sweet little Kaden turned 2 months.  Boy has time flown.  We had Kaden’s 2 month check up the Monday before he turned 2 months and he was 11lbs3oz (70th%) and 22 1/2 inches (50th%).  At the checkup he got 5 shots!!  I absolutely hate watching my kids get shots..but this little kid was remarkable.  He hardly even cried. Just gave the nurse a sad face and he was done.  Here he is right before getting his shots.

Kaden has been an amazing baby.  He has such a calm sweet spirit about him.  He is definitely going to be a peacemaker in our home.  He has been consistently waking up once a night (after sleeping about 5 hours straight), eating for about 15 minutes and then going back down to sleep for another 4 hours.  It is absolutely incredible.  When he wakes up in the morning he doesn’t even fuss.  He just lays there and wiggles until you come and get him.  Then when he sees you he grins and grins.  He has such a beautiful smile and smiles ALL OF THE TIME, and he smiles with his whole face.  He is such a little sweetheart.  He LOVES to be held and cuddle on your shoulder.  He could lay on you and snuggle all day long.

We are so in love with you beautiful little boy!!  Happy 2 months!!

St. Patrick’s Day2

The day after St. Patty’s Day, we had a little St. Patrick’s Day party at our house.  We had Corn Beef with cabbage, potatoes and carrots, a rainbow fruit tray, Irish Soda bread, and Irish sausages.  It was pretty delicious.

I think I could eat corn beef every day.  Too bad it is so unhealthy..but it I just so stinkin good.

After dinner, Paul and Teddy pulled out their helicopters.  It is so funny how entertaining those things are.

St. Patty’s Day1

I love St. Patty’s Day!! We started out the day with Green Cinnamon Rolls with green frosting and green milk..yummy yummy..haha!  Porter thought it was pretty fun.  This picture of Porter makes me laugh because he has green frosting on his nose..haha. 

We were invited over to my sister Donna’s house that evening for a delicious St. Patty’s Day dinner.  Porter has been sick and has been falling asleep for the night around 6:15, so Paul stayed home with him while Kaden and I went to the party.  Donna is such a great cook and made the yummiest corn beef, potatoes and cabbage I have ever tasted.  I think I ate until I popped.  After dinner, we were able to get some pictures of the group together.  I really love these pictures of my Grandma Haslam (Kaden’s Great Grandma) and Kaden together.

Dinner with Dad and Zuly

My Dad and his wife Zuly spent the Christmas holidays in the Philippines this year.  When they came back, we had a late Christmas dinner to celebrate with them.  It was also the first time that they met little Kaden.  I love these pictures of them with Kaden.

Poor little Porter had a rough start. A couple of minutes after we arrived, he started crying and saying that his tummy hurt. He then started throwing up by the gallons. Poor little guy! He threw up all over me, and all over my Dad’s living room floor. We took a shower and afterwards he seemed to be totally fine. So who knows why he started throwing up.  Here he is with his Christmas present. He got some super fun finger paints that he has absolutely loved playing with.

Zuly made a delicious dinner and we all enjoyed each other's company.  Heres some pictures of the group.
