Day of Fun for Porter’s Birthday

Instead of having a friend’s birthday party, Porter invited his cousin Elsa and his little brother Kaden for a fun day out for his birthday. First we took them to Airbourne Trampoline Arena.  They had an absolute blast and got a lot of energy out.  It was so much fun watching them run and jump and have so much fun.  I had no idea that Kaden would have so much fun.  I thought he was still too young to have fun at a trampoline place.  But he played and played the whole time.  We definitely need to come here more often. 

The kids loved this area of the trampoline arena with all of the balls.  For a long time, we were the only ones in that section.  So much fun!!

After playing for a while at the Trampoline place, we decided to get some lunch at The Corner Bakery in Draper.  This place had the yummiest food and everything was very fresh.  I love how they gave the kids coloring paper and crayons to color with.  We will definitely be coming back here very soon. 

After lunch we took the kids to Color Me Mine for more fun.  Porter and Elsa both chose a little elephant to paint.  It was so much fun to watch them as they painted and to see the colors that they chose.  They were concentrating so hard and did such a good job.  Little Kaden had fun too!

What a fun day we had together.  So glad that Porter could spend some time with his cousin!!  Thanks so much Dara and Elsa for coming with us and helping Porter have such a fun day out for his birthday.  We love you both so much.  And Happy Birthday to my Porter!!  We hope you had a fun day.  I love you!!

Porter is 4!!!!

Dear Porter,

I can’t believe that you are 4 years old already.  WOW!!  I can’t explain to you how much love is bursting from my heart for you Porter.  How blessed I am to be your Mommy.  From the minute you were born, we knew that you were a very special boy and every minute since then you have brought us so much joy and love. You are the best big brother ever to little Kaden.  You are always doing things for him to make him happy.  You are the only one that can always make him laugh and smile.  He loves you so much.  You are such a sensitive and loving little guy.  A couple of nights ago when I was tucking you into bed, you asked me if you could tell me a secret.  You then whispered into my ear that you loved me so much.  You then put your nose to mine and gave me the most wonderful eskimo kisses ever.  You told me that when you did that, it meant you love me so much.  Porter, I want you to know that I love you so much.  I am so proud of the wonderful little boy that you are.  You give the best hugs in the world.  You are so friendly and polite and make friends wherever you go.   You have the most adorable smile and laugh.  People are just drawn to you because they can feel your energy and kindness.  You love helping Daddy fix things and love helping me make dinner.  You love playing action heroes and transformers, riding your scooter, jumping on your little trampoline, and coloring.  You are intelligent way beyond your years and have the most unbelievable imagination.  What a beautiful little boy you are Porter.  I love watching you grown and learn.  I am so thankful to be your Mom.  I love you so much!!  Happy Birthday sweetheart.
