The Living Planet Aquarium

Porter and Paul have both been pretty sick with a bad cold for the last week and a half..my poor boys, and we had been getting cabin fever pretty bad. Last Friday, Porter seemed to be doing much better and since it had been raining and super cold outside, he and I decided to take a little trip to The Living Planet Aquarium while Paul stayed home and slept. Porter was so extremely excited to finally get out of the house, and Paul was excited to catch up on sleep in peace and quiet. We had TONS of fun!! Porter ABSOLUTELY LOVED it there. We walked around for a good 2 hours. Porter's favorite were definitely the jelly fish. He stood and watched them forever and he kept going back to see them again and again. My favorite were definitely the little penguins but for some reason Porter wasn't too interested in them. Porter also had fun digging for fish and animals in the sand pile that they had. He made a HUGE mess with the dirt but luckily the workers didn't care. Porter also was able to touch a sting ray. I lifted him up so he could touch the water, and he started splashing in the water. A couple of seconds later, a sting ray swam right under his fingers and he thought that was pretty fun. They had a story time group, but Porter and I missed it. The lady was so nice, and read Porter his own personal story. Porter even got to ride on a boat, and a frog. We had a great evening together.

So fun! That is right by where my mom lives! We have been meaning to go there forever! I think after reading your post, we have to go soon. Porter looks like he loved it!
