We have the Pass of all Passes which gets us into Tracy Aviary free. We have had our pass for about a year, and we had never been here before. I have no idea why it took us so long to make it here, but it is such a great place. We went with my good friend Stephanie and her little boy and spent well over 3 hours just walking around. And we definitely could have even spent a couple of hours longer. We will definitely be coming back. If you haven’t been there, you should definitely check it out. My kids and I loved it. Here is the link in case you are interested. http://www.tracyaviary.org/
To start out our day with the birds, we met in a building for what’s called ‘Free Flight Encounters’. These are led by the Aviary Bird Trainers where you come face to face with a rotation of their birds. It was pretty fun learning many new things about the birds, and the kids thought it was so much fun having the birds fly right over our heads.
Porter LOVED this peacock. He followed him and followed him. He thought it was the neatest bird ever.
Porter was so excited to see the Flamingoes again after we had seen them in Las Vegas. He happily remembered and reminded us that they are pink because of their shrimp diet. Little smarty pants.
It was amazing to see all of the species of birds that they had at the aviary.
This part of the Aviary was a cute little place that had a lot of cute activities for the kids. They ran around and played here for a long time and had a blast.
Here’s Porter playing around with the babies. He is so wonderful with children.
Here is Kaden with his best little buddy Dutch.
We always have fun watching the ducks.
Next time we have to make sure that we go on a Saturday when Paul doesn’t work so that he can come along. He loves birds and would love it hear. Hope we make it back soon.
