Sugar Cookies!!

Making sugar cookies with my 22 month old son was SUCH A BLAST!! And it was so much fun to see how much Porter got into it, and enjoyed it. We made a HUGE mess, but that just added to the fun. We spent a couple of days making lots of sugar cookies. Here is Porter doing the mixing (and tasting).

Then comes flouring the table and rolling out the dough. I was so impressed by how well Porter could roll out the dough..he was definitely a natural.Then the hard part came..trying to decide on the perfect Christmas cookie cutters.Porter loved cutting out the cookies. And of course you have to make sure to test the dough.
Then, after the cookies were baked, comes the BEST part of all... FROSTING AND SPRINKLES!!
And here are the finished cookies that Porter sprinkled!! :)Making sugar cookies sure wears you out!! And yes, Porter grabbed his blanket, put it on the table and laid down..all himself.. silly, silly, silly boy!These videos of Porter making the cookies are pretty hilarious..ENJOY!!
