December Trip to the Park

Even though it is in the middle of December, last week we enjoyed a fairly warm day. I think it made it to the upper 50's and so Porter and I decided to take advantage of it and head to the park. I had been feeling bad for Porter because I have been SO LAZY lately and we had not spent a lot of time outdoors the last couple of days, so this trip to the park was greatly needed for the both of us. We had so much fun that we ended up staying for 2 hours. I think our favorite part of our afternoon at the park was playing in the puddles.



We had so much fun dancing and splashing. The cars that drove past us probably thought we were crazy, but we had a blast. And can you tell from these pictures that Porter LOVES to swing? We had fun playing in the tunnels and jumping in the snow. On our way back to the car, we passed dripping water from the roof of the pavilion. Porter of course had to and run through it a couple of times before I caught up to him..silly boy! So here are some pictures of him wet from the water. The second we got him home, we put him straight in the bathtub.
