Sledding

On December 29th, during Christmas break, we had a HUGE snowstorm and decided that would be a great day to take the kids sledding.  This has basically been the only snowstorm this year that has produced enough snow for sledding.  It has been such an incredibly warm and dry Winter so far.  The boys were so excited to take their new Christmas sleds on our sledding trip.  We are lucky to have an awesome sledding hill right by our house…. just about 2 minutes down our road.

And this was this cute little guys' first sledding trip! Smile  Every one of my boys has used this blue little sled.  Owen thought it was a lot of fun.  He smiled and smiled until the end when he started getting tired and cold and then he was ready to be done.. but I think his first sledding trip was a success!!

Sledding is one of Porter’s most favorite activities.  He just LOVES sledding.  He has no fear and will just cruise down any hill as fast as he can make his sled go.  It is so much fun watching him have so much fun!!  I wish that we could get some more snow so we can take him again.

Kaden loved going down on this little round sled and thought it was so much fun!  He also LOVED pulling Owen on his sled.  It was so cute watching him pull Owen.  Such a wonderful big brother!!

I think Paul doesn’t liked admitting that he LOVES sledding. But he was flying down the big hills with Porter most of the time.  He doesn’t care if he is actually on a sled, or flying down the hill with his snow pants..haha.
