Owen 11 Months

Our beautiful little boy is 11 months!!  I can’t believe that next month he will be 1 years old.. aww.. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone.  This has been a big month for Owen with a lot of new learned skills and happenings.  He had been fussy for a couple of days and so we decided to take him to see the doctor.  We found out that he had a double ear infection (his first one) poor little guy on January 24th!  The doctor said he couldn’t believe how happy and smiley he still was even when he was so sick.  A couple of days later on the 26th of January, Owen figured out how to get from his tummy to sitting up.  He had been working on this for a while so I am sure he was so happy when he figured this out.  Also this week on the 29th, Owen started crawling backwards for the first time.  Now he can either roll and get where he wants to go, or crawl backwards.  It is so cute watching him move around!  We often find him stuck under the side of the couch, or table, etc..haha.  Owen loves to talk.  His expressions that he has are absolutely adorable.  You just know that he knows exactly what he is saying.  He loves to say, “Hi and Hey”.  His little voice is just so cute!  He also loves to copy your intonation when you speak to him.  Such a little sweetheart. 

Love this video of Owen.  His smile just melts my heart!  This is so Owen.. just so happy and smiley all of the time.  Such a little peacemaker. 

Owen is standing up by himself very well now.  He loves standing up and playing with his little activity table.  He is so cute and stands a lot of the time on his tippy toes.  It is so much fun watching him develop and grow in so many new ways. 

Owen is such a handsome little guy.  His bright blue eyes, blonde wispy hair, cute little cheeks, and gorgeous smile can just eat you right up.  I love all of his cute facial expressions and his sweet little baby teeth. 

Poor little Owen has a bad gag reflex and has been gagging so easily when he eats that it seems like almost a meal a day, he throws up because of gagging.  It is so sad.  So we have been feeding him very slowly and are careful that he keeps his hands away from his mouth so he doesn’t accidently gag himself.  So he has been spending lots of times in the bathtub getting cleaned up.. poor little guy.  But he still loves to eat.  His favorites are:  applesauce, grilled cheese sandwiches, Peanut butter sandwiches, cheese, veggie straw crackers, and graham crackers. 

Happy 11 Months Owen.  We love you so much sweetheart!!!
