Temple Square1

Porter and I spent a day at Temple Square last week. We toured the temple square grounds, and hit most of the church museums. We had such a fun day. The weather was cool and perfect for a nice day out. The grounds of temple square were absolutely beautiful. The flowers were gorgeous. Porter loved smelling them. He was so adorable. I did have to stop him a couple of times from trying to pull some of the flowers out. But his favorite part of the Temple Square Grounds were definitely the fountains. He loved them so much. He thought they were the coolest thing ever.
Here's Porter in front of the pioneer home in back of the Genealogical Library. Here's Porter with a picture of our prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. Definitely the best part of the day for me was taking Porter up to see the Christ statue. When he saw the statue for the first time he said, "Look Mamma, it's Jesus." He was so excited. He then started talking to him and saying, "Hi Jesus, I Porter." When the presentation started, Porter said, "Jesus talking to Porter." He was so cute, I almost died. And he didn't want to leave. He just sat on the chairs and watched the statue of Christ for a long time. When we finally began to leave, we made it halfway down the spiral walkway and Porter turned around and ran back up to see him again. (This happened about 3 times.) It was so sweet. It was so special to see that Porter loved Jesus, and could feel the spirit there.
