Porter's first haircut

So, the time finally came for us to cut these beautiful curls. Right before we left for Norway, we were going to give him a haircut. Paul's Mom was so nice to do it for us. But all we ended up doing was trimming his bangs..haha. How can you cut off the curls?? We just couldn't do it. Here he is right before his trimming.
And here he is getting his hair cut!!

And then last month, a couple of days after we returned from Norway, we decided that little Porter's afro definitely needed a little trim. So we headed back to Paul's Mom's house and she did a great job cutting his hair. It was so sad to see so many of the curls disappear but don't you worry, I saved them in a baggy to keep forever! :) Porter did so well with the hair cut and just sat there patiently on Paul's lap while his hair was being cut. Look how long his hair was.
