It has been SO HOT here the last couple of months that the only way to survive is to stay nice and cool in the water. Almost every day we include some kind of water play. Here Porter is playing with his new Rocket Ship Floaters. He LOVES them (especially the squirt gun).
And this little guy loves the water just as much as his brother. He could float in his little floaters forever!!
Every year we make sure to hit the water at Liberty Park at least a couple of times during the summer. Porter LOVES splashing in the water at the canyons and running through the splash pad there. And Kaden had tons of fun just hanging out in the sun!
It’s always fun to get these 2 cousins together. They are so stinking cute!!
We have also had tons of fun playing on our ‘water slide’ in the backyard.

One day while Porter was having tons of fun on our swing set and Kaden was a little bored, we made him this ‘ghetto water bed’! I found the idea on one of my favorite websites: www.playathomemom.com, and thought it looked like a lot of fun. You fill up a garbage bag with water and duck tape it closed. Kaden thought it was the most fun thing ever. He wiggled on it for a long time. He was so cute!
And water play dates are the best!!
