Little Boy Catchup #2

Here is the second blog post to catch you up a little with what our little boys have been up the last month. 

I thought this picture was so fun.  Kaden drew it on November 4th and he said it was our family.  The first line was Daddy, the next line was me, the next Porter and the last one him..haha.  I just thought it was adorable.  So here you have Kaden’s first family drawing!

We love Wheeler Farms.  I know that over half of my blog posts are from here, but it is just such a beautiful and fun place.  We just love it here.  There are lots of animals to see here, but this trip all the boys were interested in were just chasing the ducks and the geese.

Poor little Kaden has been getting so sick lately.  On November 14th, he was up all night coughing and started wheezing super bad.  The next morning we took him to the doctors and were told that he had bronchiolitis…poor baby.  They said that he was wheezing so bad that they did a breathing treatment in the office.  Then we were told to get a nebulizer for home where we had to give him albuterol breathing treatments every 4 hours.  A week later he was pretty much better.  2 days later, he started coughing and wheezing super bad again..we took him again and were told that he had Reactive Airway Disease.. so right back on the breathing treatments he went.. poor baby.  We were told that it is a huge possibility that he will eventually get asthma.  He did so amazing with his breathing treatments.  He usually fussed for a little bit at the beginning but then was totally fine if he was watching Barney or Pingu..haha. 

And here is our budding gymnast.  This little guys loves to do all sorts of flips and cartwheels, handstands, etc.  We really need to put him in gymnastics because he is so talented and just loves this kind of stuff.  Sometimes he even scares my by the stuff that he attempts to do. 

Here the boys are at Draper City Park.  We love this park.  It is such a big park spread over such a big area.  The boys love running around this park!

Our little boys LOVE painting!  I need to always make sure that we have paints on hand because they have so much fun and it is so fun to see their creativity and cute little painted pictures. 

Here are Porter’s finished masterpieces!  He started out painting just the picture and then found out that he had lots more fun painting the whole entire page..haha.  So cute!

And here is Kaden’s cute little painted pictures!!  He was so excited that one of his pictures was of Barney.  This is one of his obsessions lately..haha. 

Some blank paper and stickers are all these boys need to be happy..haha.

We have a pass to the Discovery Gateway Museum and took advantage of it one weekend so that Paul could come with us.  I usually take the kids during the week when Paul is at work, so the kids were so happy that he joined us this day.  Had a super fun day. 

Paul got off a little early one day last month and we all headed to the Tracy Aviary in SLC.  This is our second time there and the boys had a blast.  I think their favorite part was definitely following this peacock all around.  Love spending time together with my family!!

The last Wednesday of every month in November, January and February is free day at the Hogle zoo.  So in November we took advantage of it and took the boys.  This is the first time that Kaden has actually been to the zoo where we could enjoy it.  Last year he was just too little. 

I love seeing this cuties together.  Porter is such a little protector and loves taking care of Kaden.  He was so cute and always grabbed his hand to show him something.  I am so thankful that they are such good little buddies.
