The next morning we headed out to take the kids to The Town Square Park. It was a beautiful day and the kids had so much fun running around and getting energy out. Porter makes a new friend everywhere we go. Porter and Tayla played with this little boy in green almost the whole time.
Kaden was so cute running around at the park too! I’m sure he was loving the sunshine!
Here’s Kaden and his best little friend Dutch! They had a lot of fun playing with each other.
Not too many parks have these little merry go round things anymore. They are so so fun and Porter loves them!!
And here is our fun group, plus some random little girl in pink..haha.
After the kids played at the park for a while, the park held a cute little story time for the kids full of songs, stories and balloons. It was so cute. I think West Jordan needs to take some pointers from them and have story times like this. The kids LOVED it, especially their balloons.
After a fun morning spent at the park, we came home and the kids crashed and watched a movie. Here is cute little Porter and Tayla resting on the couch.
Quiet time didn’t last very long before Porter and Tayla wanted to go swimming. Kaden and Liam were still taking a nap, so we left them with Steph and Camille, and I took Porter and Tayla for a swim.
These 2 little fishes had a blast. There was no one else in the whole pool and so they had tons of room to play and splash around. The pool was heated and was so nice.
We played for a little over an hour, but I think they could have played here all day.
After swimming, we had dinner and rested for a little while before heading out to the Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. We finally arrived after running our hearts out with our double strollers, hoping to make it before it closed. We arrived about 5 minutes after they closed, but they still let us in and boy were we thankful that they did. It was an amazing place. WE GOT TO SEE DOLPHINS. We were basically the only ones there so we got front seats to the dolphin show. It was so much fun seeing them so close and the kids thought it was so neat.
This white lion was HUGE and scary. Every time that he would walk by us, he would stop and growl. It was a little scary.
We also saw white tigers, panthers and leopards. It was pretty neat.
What a busy and fun day we had. By the end of the day the kids were very tired. We took them home and I put Porter and Kaden right to bed. Then it was mine and Steph’s turn for a night out. We left the kids home with Camille, and we went to eat at a super yummy buffet at the Belagio. Here we are heading out on our fun girls night out.
We ate and ate and ate. So so yummy..especially the crab legs. MmmmMMmmm!
Here’s plate 2
and plate 3..haha, I can really pack it down. Yummmmmy!!
Right before we were headed back for dessert, we get a phone call from Camille saying that Kaden was throwing up everywhere and crying which woke up the rest of the kids. Poor Camille was stuck by herself with a sick baby and 4 other kids. Steph and I ran and stuffed dessert in our mouths on the way out, and ran home as fast as we could.
The next morning we headed home. It was a little more rough traveling back. Kaden threw up and him and Dutch cried a lot of the way home. Poor little babies. I think they were ready to get home. We had a wonderful trip, but it was also nice to get home and see Paul (even though I am sure he enjoyed some time by himself). Thanks so much ladies for such a fun trip!!
