Paul and Porter’s birthdays are just 2 days apart. Paul’s birthday is on February 15th, and Porter’s birthday is on the 17th. We decided to have a combined family birthday party for them on Porter’s actual birthday. We had a lot of fun. We had so much support from our wonderful family. You guys are the best!!
The morning of Porter’s birthday, he woke up to a room of balloons. He thought that was the funest thing ever and played and played with them for a very long time. And then he ate a special birthday breakfast.
Porter was so cute on his birthday. From the moment that he woke up and realized that he was 4 years old, all of a sudden he kept saying “now I am a big big boy and can do so many things.” Whenever any of us needed help with anything he would quickly volunteer because “I am 4 years old now and I can do anything”. He kept telling me to watch his great manners, because “I am 4 years old and have great manners now.” He wanted to us a fork and knife when he ate because “I can now, because I am 4 years old.” He volunteered to get Kaden dressed and even wanted to change his diaper because he was 4 now..haha, he is so cute!!
Then came the birthday dinner. We had a pasta bar full of 2 different kinds of sauces (Chicken Alfred and marinara) and 2 different kinds of pasta (spaghetti and bow tie), lots of toppings, bread sticks, salad, and pizza squares. It was yummy!!
We were so excited that Grandpa Doug and Grandma Dorothy were able to come for the party from Idaho. It was so much fun spending some more time with them.
And then it was present time. Both Paul and Porter were absolutely spoiled to death. Thanks so much everyone for the wonderful presents. Porter was in present heaven.
Paul’s wish was for gift cards from everyone, so that is what he got. And his face shows just how super excited he was for them! 
And then it was time for cake! First Porter’s turn.

Porter loved the cake! He kept asking for more and more. Luckily he didn’t get a tummy ache from all of the sugar that night.
I think the rest of the family enjoyed theirs as well!
And this is what our party looked like right in middle of it! Haha.. Thank you so much everyone for coming to support Paul and Porter. They had a great birthday because of all of you!! We love you!!
