Yup, you heard that right. Last August, my husband and I and my sister Natasha and her husband Colby were lucky enough to head out on a Caribbean Cruise for a week. My Mom was amazing and took off work for a week so that she could watch the boys for us while were were gone. We had an absolutely incredibly wonderful week. We flew to Texas and boarded our Cruise ship on Carnival Cruise lines there. Here Paul and I are on our first flight!! YAY.. we were soooo excited!

And here Natasha and I are at the airport…yayaya!!

And we made it!! Our amazing ship was Carnival Triumph and to say that it was incredible would be a complete understatement. It was phenomenal. Here we are in front of our ship!
Leaving the Port of Galveston
Here is pretty much what our room service looked like every day.. about 500 times a day. It was absolutely amazing. We could pick up the phone and order whatever drinks and foods and desserts we wanted and within 15 minutes.. it would be on our doorstep! WOW!
One of the most amazing things about being on a cruise was the amount of food that you could eat. It surpassed anything I could dream of. We were seriously eating every second of every day that we spend on the ship. And the food was deliciously amazing. Every night for dinner we ate in the London dining room! We would usually order 2 main courses, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts EVERY!! EVENING! Yay.. we are pigs, but it was so worth it! Usually about half way through our dinner.. the waiters and waitresses would perform a musical number that would start with them saying.. IT’S SHOWTIME’. Haha.. it was pretty cheesy but we loved it! The food highlights from the London Dining Center were definitely the crocodile fritters, the frog legs, the fruit soups, and the delicious chocolate lava cake.. Mmmmm!
And then of course we couldn’t forgot the tons of other food places on the ship! Yea.. we were definitely not lacking in the food department!
And this cute boy sure thought the unlimited supply of icecream cones was the best thing ever.
I can’t even begin to describe how peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating it was to be on this amazing boat surrounded by the beautiful ocean every day with my amazing husband. It was unbelievable. We had a little deck right outside our room with a couple of chairs that we could come and sit at and enjoy the beautiful view and sound of the ocean whenever we wanted. It was surreal. I spent many, many, many hours on this deck! Oh how I love the ocean!
Our cruise ship had so many amazing activities to participate in. It had all kinds of pools and hottubs and even a waterslide. We watched lots of late night movies at the poolside theater, went golfing, went to comedy clubs, played cards (especially phase 10) in the library, etc. etc. So!MUCH!FUN!
But Paul and I, having 3 kids, would agree without a doubt that the single best part of being on a cruise was being able to go to sleep whenever we wanted and sleeping in as late as we wanted. It was a little piece of heaven on earth for sure! All of the sleep was so incredible!!! Here is Paul taking advantage of as much sleep as he could get while on the cruise ship!
Every time we left the room, we would come back to these cute towel animals. Here are a couple of them!
Here are Natasha and my sad faces when it was time to leave and go back home. Oh how we miss our cruise! We are already planning for our next cruise ship adventure. It was so amazing!! I definitely recomment a cruise to anyone and everyone! Such an amazing and great time.
And here is Paul and I with our luggage ready to head home!
We had such a wonderful time. So grateful for this time that I got to spend with my husband and sister Natasha and brother in law Colby! Love you guys so much! And thanks so much Mama for being willing to take the boys for so long! Love you so much!
