Happy 5 Months Owen

Yes.. our little guy is already 5 months!!  Time just doesn’t stop.  It seems to be flying faster and faster every day.  Our little sweet baby continues to bring so much joy and happiness into our home.. it is incredible.  He honestly can’t go more than 10 seconds without smiling.  He just smiles constantly and has the most beautiful smile ever.  He is learning so many new things everyday.  He is very musical and he loves when we sing to him.  He just looks at you and smiles and smiles.  His favorite song is patty cake and every time we sing it to him.. he claps his hand on ours.  It is the cutest thing in the world.  Owen is such a handsome little guy and has the most beautiful eyes.  They are bright bright blue and so clear.  It also looks like he might be a little blondie.  His hair seems like it is coming in a lot lighter than my other boys.. we shall see!

 

Owen is very drooley and slobbery and chews on everything in sight.. so we are just waiting to see his first little tooth poke through.  His bottom gums are looking swollen so we are thinking that it can be any day that we see them start to poke through.            Owen is very interactive and loves playing with his toys.  He does great at holding and grabbing things.  If he is laying on the floor he will roll over to grab whatever toy or thing is by him.   He continues to be a great eater and gets SO excited anytime you pull out his feeding spoon.  He usually downs a baby food in the morning and another in the evening.  He drinks a whole bottle about every 3 hours.  He is an amazing sleeper and usually only wakes up once a night.. going down at 8 in the evening and waking up around 8 in the morning.  He is so cute when we come and get him in the morning.  He just grins and laughs! Such a little sweetheart.

Owen is such a people person.  It is so funny and cute watching him when we are out in public.  When people walk past us.. he just looks up and beams at them.  Then if they stop and talk to him he just giggles and giggles.  He can’t get enough of interacting with people.  He just loves it.  I have had a ton of people stop me and say that they have never seen such a happy and smiley baby before.
