Owen 4 Months

Another month has gone by, and our sweet beautiful little Owen is already 4 months!  Owen continues to be the smiliest and sweetest little guy ever.  He is still so content and spends his days just smiling and smiling and melting the hearts of everyone around him.  I just can’t get enough of this handsome little face.

Owen loves being around people.  He loves interacting and playing with anyone.  He just giggles and smiles the whole time.  His smile is so beautiful.  Such a little charmer and a little peacemaker.  How can you look at this little face and not smile yourself?

Owen is growing and learning so much.  He has learned to roll on cue from his tummy to his back and rolls almost immediately every time he is on his tummy.  He rolls once in a while from his back to his tummy, but not very often. 

Owen loves toys and he does great at holding them and playing with them.  We think little Owen is teething because he constantly has his fist in his mouth and just gnaws on everything in site.  He also just drools and drools.  We haven’t noticed any fussiness, so hopefully he isn’t in a lot of pain. 

Owen is still an excellent sleeper.  He usually sleeps every hour and a half or so and naps for about an hour each time.  He sleeps from 7:30 -3 at night, wakes up for a bottle, then sleeps until usually around 8.

Owen is getting to be such a big boy and started eating ‘real food’ this month.  Here he is trying rice cereal for the first time. 

He has tried peas, carrots, squash, bananas, apples, and blueberry puree.  So far his favorite is peas..haha.  He downed the whole can in a couple of minutes and couldn’t his mouth open enough for more.  Such a little sweetheart.  We have stopped giving him oatmeal for now because it seems to make his tummy upset, so we are only giving him rice cereal with fruits and veggies for now.  We will try again in a month for so to see if he is ready for it then. 

Owen’s older brothers love him so much!!  Look at this cute little fort/ bed that they built him out of books!   They were so excited and kept asking me if he could please sleep in it..haha. 

So incredibly grateful that Owen has 2 older amazing brothers that love him so much and would do anything for him.  I am the luckiest Mommy ever!!
